"What can I do to help?"

If you want to input some help particularly to this project, here's what I'm looking for.

NOTE: If you know you cannot/won't really commit, do not enlist yourself. Also, let me know of your progress from time to time (within three weeks sounds good).

Scripters: Not surprising. However, the MUGEN languauge isn't really difficult so much as overwhelming, but I can probably work on some of this one myself. NOTE: I wouldn't worry about this part yet. With zero characters completed beyond a input test using the unfinished Kirby sprites, you wouldn't have anything to do.

Background Artist: I'm talkin' Capcom quality (or near it), here. Not super detailed realistic wise, more like the Street Fighter Alpha/Vampire games. I'll handle it, push comes to shove.

Special Effects Artist: Not dire, I can do it myself, but it'll get me through the spriting process faster if someone else helps. Capcom-like quality, please.

Musician: Not very necessary. Unlike Poke Island where it IS needed in some cases (and I'll most likely pay someone for that), here it's just for quick looping victory themes. Unlike Street Fighter where a similar victory theme is used for every character, it's more like Marvel Super Heros/Vampire where EVERY character has their own victory theme (Smash Bros has it per series, which is still not what I want).

Did I mention Vampire (Darkstalkers) is my favorite fighting series? I'm gonna level with you, I still think it exceeds the Smash Bros. series. No surprise it's the standard I'm working with.

Sprite Artist?: This one's tricky. Unfortunately there's a lot of sprites in fighting games, if you want it to look good, anyway. However, I figured I'd handle this myself. It's just going to take forever. The thing is, if you were to attempt to help, you simply must have an eye for animation, and you have to have a cute and cartoon like style, something around my level so that sprites don't look like they clash. So if for some reason you actually think you can, feel free, but don't worry about it otherwise. Just throwing this out there.

Voice sampling: Oy, I'm kind of scared. I'd really only want quality samples like something you'd get in a recording studio, but not everyone has that set up. Are mics better these days? Does it come with editing software? At any rate, it's mostly grunts and screams, and whatever I can get from official games (like Smash Bros) I'll use that instead. However, you have to actually be GOOD at voice acting. I can't have someone just 'read lines' (even if there aren't any), and I don't want someone who over acts and just makes the voice sound contrived. I've got a certain level of proffesionalism I want in my games, so I can't just take anything. If I can't get voices, though, I'll (as much as I'd really rather not) just find characters with similar voices through other means, or there's gonna be a lot of quiet characters.

PS: Pokemon do not speak in Poke-speak this time, so I'm in trouble there, too. Too much personality is lost in generic name repetition. If you can speak while imitating a Pokemon's voice, though, that works.
